I think attaching elastic would be a better idea..you don't wanna stretch the yarn and make it loose. Also with buttons could come off easily. Aside from that, very nice idea and project.

This was my first time finger knitting since it kept coming up on Pinterest and it was great!! But it ended up a little twisted, because I messed up on some part. I'm guessing this is the kind of hobby you need to pat extra attention to but overall the project worked and I'm glad you shared this!

So it’s not really how to arm knit with thin strands - it’s more like how to arm with a bunch of thin strands placed together so they mimic large arm knitting yarn.

Ummm I did it but uh.. I kinda made like big wholes in it so uh yea listen to her and make it tight as possible. I didn’t listen so I got wholes in the thing but I made a blanket so💪 this is a really good video. Will use again to make another blanket

I know this is years late but just want to say WOW, you have a new convert to finger crochet! I just recently started "finger knitting" chenille chunky yarn blankets and in that process, have come across doing a true single crochet stitch. I LOVE this idea of the triple strand finger crochet and will start it as soon as I get some yarn in 6 weight instead of another chenille blanket. This seems like it would make much prettier, looser baby blankets; the 7 jumbo yarn is, I think, too big for knitting really tight baby blankets and makes a very 'thick' blanket, more like a dog bed, let's say! Simple question, of course: I'm assuming using this 3 strand method, I could use 3 different or even 2 different colors? Thank you again, I'm so jazzed!
